Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
DupeOrium ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or make a purchase, in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to fulfill your orders and improve our platform.
-
Order Information: When you make a purchase, we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, and phone number.
-
Payment Information: We do not store your credit card details. All payment data is handled directly and securely by our payment processor, Stripe.
-
Technical Data: We use a privacy-first, cookie-less analytics engine (Umami) to monitor website traffic and user journeys. This system does not track you across other websites or collect personally identifiable information (PII).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
-
Process, fulfill, and ship your orders.
-
Communicate with you regarding your order status, shipping updates, or customer service inquiries.
-
Prevent fraudulent transactions.
-
Analyze generalized, anonymous traffic patterns to improve our website's performance and layout.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share necessary information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business:
-
Stripe: For secure payment processing.
-
Shipping Carriers: For order fulfillment and delivery.
-
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd: Only if you accept advertising cookies, to measure how our adverts perform, as described in section 4.
-
Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose your information to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal obligation.
4. Cookies, Advertising and Purchase Measurement
Cookies and advertising. With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel, a cookie from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, to measure how our adverts perform and to show relevant adverts on Facebook and Instagram. It records pages you visit, products you view or add to your basket, and purchases. It stays off unless you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the foot of our pages.
Purchase measurement. If you've accepted advertising cookies, when you place an order we also send Meta a record of the purchase (order value and currency) with your email address, phone number, name, city, postcode and country in hashed (encoded) form, plus your IP address and browser details, so Meta can match the purchase to our adverts. Meta may process this data outside the UK. We don't do this if you declined.
Legal basis. We rely on your consent for advertising cookies and purchase measurement. Our cookieless analytics (Umami) and the processing needed to fulfil your order are unaffected by your choice.
5. Data Retention
We retain your Order Information for our records to resolve disputes, provide customer support, and comply with tax and legal obligations. We will delete or anonymize your personal data when it is no longer necessary for these purposes.
6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
If you are a resident of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
-
Access the personal data we hold about you.
-
Request correction of any inaccurate data.
-
Request the deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten").
-
Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected].
